Warsaw Tigers 54
After a slow start the JV Football Redskins made a super effort to come from behind against the Warsaw Tigers but came up short with a 54-34 loss. The Redskins fall to 2-4, 2-2 in the NLC. Leaders for the Redskins were plenty, a very solid second half from the Redskin Defense aloud the game to get closer than the score shows. Offensively for the Redskins CJ Detweiler again passed for over 200 yards and completed 4 TD passes on the day. Joseul Sanchez caught 3 of those TD passes at 50 yards, 35 yards & 45 yards. Michael Chupp was the other receiver not only catching a TD pass from Detweiler but also a perfectly executed sweep pass that Sergio Cervantas tossed for a 65 yard TD. The Redskins will travel to Northridge on Saturday with a 10 a.m. kickoff.
