Summer Sports Performances

All GHS student-athletes are strongly encouraged to take part in the GHS athletic department sports performance program. It is a program designed to help you improve your overall ATHLETICISM: speed, quickness, balance, coordination, power, and core strength.

The GHS athletic department sports performance sessions for female athletes will run 4 days each week from June 3rd– June 25th. All sessions will be held in the GHS main gym upper deck from 10:00 AM – noon. On Tuesdays at 11:00 AM, we will offer Yoga sessions in the warehouse to all GHS student-athletes and staff and on Thursdays at 11:00 AM we will offer PiYo classes that are designed to improve core strength and balance. This is also available to all GHS student-athletes and staff.

All students attending need to have a 2014-2015 school year or 2015-2016 current year physical exam and concussion paperwork completed and on file in the GHS athletic office. Excuses vs. Excellence…will you be there?

There is no sports performance for boys this summer except for PiYo and Yoga. Boys will work with their team coaches for sports performance this summer.

Any questions can be directed to the GHS athletic office at 533-0652. For sport-specific information, please visit the website of the sport in question.
