GHS Sports Performance

All GHS student-athletes are strongly encouraged to take part in the GHS athletic department sports performance program.  It is a program designed to help you improve your overall ATHLETICISM:  speed, quickness, balance, coordination, power, and core strength.

The GHS athletic department sports performance sessions for female athletes will run every Tuesday and Thursday after school in the weight room from 4:00-6:00 PM. Any girl not in a spring sport is encouraged to attend. Sessions will be run by coaches not currently in season and any interested athletes can contact any of them for more information. Students can change in Whiteman Gym locker rooms and should meet at the weight room. There is currently no sports performance taking place at this time.

The GHS athletic department sports performance sessions for male athletes will run every Monday, Tuesday (warehouse) and Thursday after school in the weight room from 3:50-5:00 PM. Any male not in a spring sport is encouraged to attend. Sessions will be run by coaches not currently in season and any interested athletes can contact them for more information. Students can change in Whiteman Gym locker rooms and should meet at the weight room. There is currently no sports performance taking place at this time.

Any athlete interested much have current concussion paperwork & physical exam on file with the athletic office in order to participate.
